All the Addo adventure and none of the hassle! Explore the wonders of Addo Elephant National Park with a local tourist guide for an educational, malaria-free addo safari experience. This all-inclusive addo park tour takes place in a closed tour vehicle with air-conditioning, perfect for small groups and families with small children. Traveling with a qualified addo elephant park guide means you'll get the best chance of spotting Africa's "Big 5" along the rough paths of the park. Plus! With our tour to Addo we have also included a gourmet picnic lunch with refreshing beverages and a bottle of excellent South African wine.
Your Addo wildlife safari tour begins with pickup from your Port Elizabeth accommodation at 8:00 am, when you'll board an air-conditioned vehicle to greet your driver and guide. Departing from Port Elizabeth, you'll enjoy a scenic +- 35 minutes' drive.
Next, continue to the check in gate for a quick break and photos before entering the park. Your enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide will drive through the park and stop for sightings. Animals that could be seen during the drive are elephant, buck, zebra, warthog, lion to name only a few. Keep a close lookout while driving past the bushes; animals love to camouflage themselves among the thickets!
Along the way your guide will take you to the lookout point for a stretch and special treat.
After exploring the park, you'll head to the picnic site at around 12:00 pm to enjoy a specially prepared picnic lunch. Then continue the safari journey, learning about the animals and area from your guide.
You will exit the park at around 15:30 pm ( can be later and is dependant on animal sightings) to head back to your Port Elizabeth accommodation.
